Span and Support Recommendations for 35mm Clear Polycarbonate Sheets

The enhanced rigidity of 35mm polycarbonate allows for the widest spans in multi-wall sheets. When planning your project, consider the following span guidelines:

  • Without Cross Bracing: Rafters should be spaced at approximately 1,800mm.
  • With Cross Bracing: Spans can increase to up to 2,100mm, depending on project requirements and load conditions.

For projects exposed to extreme winds or heavy snowfall, incorporating cross bracing is highly recommended to enhance stability and distribute loads evenly.
