How to calculate how many sheets are required

Working out how many sheets you need for your project is a pretty simple task. The overall sheet width is 660mm, but we need to allow for overlap when installing, which gives us a cover width of 608mm. We can then use this figure to work out how many sheets are required. For example...

Roof Size - 3m width x  3m projection (slope)

3m = 3000mm

3000mm ÷ 608mm = 4.93  (rounded up to 5x 3050mm length sheets allowing for overhang at the bottom of the slope)

Where longer projections are needed, the sheets can also be overlapped lengthways like roof tiles. For example, for a 4m projection, you could combine 1830mm length and 2440mm length sheets to give a total length of 4.27m you then overlap the sheets on the 4.27m length to get it closer to the length you need.
